Congrats to Bronto and sorry to BFJ. I was rooting for Lamar to win the ‘chip just to shut up those shitty GOP. Of course, those goalpost-moving motherfuckers would just say that her have to win more.

Moving on, not an insignificant amount of blue in the crowd in Santa Clara.

I think that on that taunting call, Flowers managed to check off all 3 components of taunting. Pushed him in the shoulder so he couldn't get up, hit him with the ball, and stood over him. Mind you, those are all stupid things that should't be illegal but still!

Should have been PI on the end zone pick. Irrelevant that the ball was picked before that. It was in the air, going in Likely's direction and he got hit before the INT.

Lamar seemed so desperate to prove he’s not just a running a QB he kept passing up open running lanes to keep taking terrible shots down field. You’re the fastest guy on the field man…take the easy yards.

Romo actually made a good point, every decision to run seemed to be a second or two too late.

The Chiefs secondary was amazing, but he looked completely mediocre out there.

He was also right about Lamar’s overthrows taking away the chance to draw a PI when/if the receiver pulls up. Should have learned from franchise legend Joe Flacco.

I think the fact he threw it into triple coverage with the ball behind the receiver had a lot to do with the fact PI wasn't called.

Even if Lamar overthrows it, if a dude gets hit before the ball gets there it’s illegal contact and 5 yards and an automatic first.

(I’m seriously still going to bring that up when we’re all in retirement homes posting on Swamp version 15.1.)

Ravens only ran the ball 16 times if I saw the right stat. And a number of those were Lamar scrambles. That’s…an odd gameplan for by far the best rushing team in the league this year.

Every time they show a game in this stadium, I remember how shitty it is that they put all the luxury boxes in the south side of the stadium, meaning those in the seats are stuck with the sun and heat all game. That’s some real let-them-eat-cake bullshit.

Yeah lower bowl only but they sold it out in 5 hours. Should raise a few million for charity.

and thanks y'all -- this is a run to not be taken for granted. it's fun, especially with the acceptance of how unique it is and that losing a playoff game is hardly the end of the world when your team is doing stuff like this after I went the first 30+ years of my life wondering if they'd ever go to a Super Bowl.

Man, Penei Sewell is crazy good on running plays. When do you ever see the RT pulling as the lead blocker eight yards downfield on sweep plays? And just think how terrifying that would be for the DB, seeing him bearing down on you? It’s like staring down the Juggernaut.

The only thing I will say is I don’t know how much faith they really have in Badgley. It would have been about the distance Moody missed from earlier.

A couple disappointments and you eventual get used to it and make the successes that much sweeter. Take my word for it.

And SC, maybe back in the 80s when the NFC champ would steamroll poor Elway and the Broncos, but at least since 2000, the Super Bowls have been fantastic. I just went through in my head, and starting with Rams-Titans 15 of them have been at very least close and entertaining.
I think I have the disappointment part down pat by now.
You sure? Part of what you’re feeling has to be the knowledge that they can break you new and awful ways today.

Anyway totally rooting for the Lions. And the Chefs, want a SFJ today.

How is this game tied right now? It feels like the Lions should be ahead by 20 points based on the run of play. Turnover have such an effect.
