I love it when teams go for the killshot immediately after a turnover.

Another garbage spot by the refs, but Mahomes runs for 20 anyway.

A buddy I was watching the game with put $25 on a +1200 future on KC back in November.

He's happy.

On the 4th and 1 scramble by Mahomes, was it Bosa who lost containment? Romo was talking about that so much throughout the game.

I also feel like if they force fed McCaffrey more it would have helped a lot, although Purdy had an awesome game

The single biggest donor to RFK's SuperPAC American Values 2024 was Timothy Mellon. Mellon gave $60 million to GOP candidates in 2020 and $47 million in 2022.

Why do they bother with the clock in overtime?

Changing the field directions, and to keep the natural breaks. Those would be my guess.

On the read option to the right? I don't think it really mattered because Kelce was open if Bosa had the contain.

This is surreal. I went my entire life through the 2018 season thinking they'd never win the Super Bowl and then ... this.

ETA: the TD pass was the fourth down conversion play they beat the Browns with when Chad Henne was playing QB combined with the fake jet sweep from last year's Super Bowl

knowing full well that Kyle Shanahan is going to get another offseason full of crap -- did anyone else find his clock management at the end of the first half to be extremely weird and conservative?

Chiefs got the ball to start the second half and they got a gift timeout from the Chiefs with 1:09 to go and ... just didn't use a TO until there were 23 seconds left on third down. there's little downside to using those timeouts earlier and seeing if you can get 45 seconds or so out of it

Was giving the defense a few minutes rest worth it for giving up the advantage of going second in overtime? How much does that rest help; I feel like once the players are exhausted, a couple of extra minutes doesn't help much--maybe for 3 or 4 plays and then they're exhausted again, which goes back to the importance of that 4th and 1. Perfect play call taking advantage of the skills of your two best players. Take notes, Kyle Shanahan.

And thanks Bronto. Maybe Bosa could knock down a throw to Kelce but probably not with Mahomes's creativity with the release point.

So prior to 2018, you were unaware of Superbowl I or IV?

Any fan supporting Detroit, Tennessee, San Diego, etc,.. would be pretty happy with pre 2018 KC playing history.

This comes from a life long Queens Park Rangers fan, so you have no idea what surreal looks like.
