The Lions had the highest rated game on every NFL network they played on this season except Fox (SB 59).

A reporter once asked Peyton Manning, "Peyton, what kept you going after such a serious neck injury?"

Peyton paused, then said, "You've met Eli, right? The guy who wears helmets off the field. The one with the special rubber pants."

"You might’ve heard that the Giants had to assign someone just to keep track of his favorite blanket during road games so he wouldn’t get fussy. The fact my dad had to chaperone his honeymoon and ended up living with him." Peyton added, rubbing his temples.

"Has he shown you his horse drawings? The ones that look like snakes? Or explained in excruciating detail how he envisions those horses as purple in his head before bringing them to life with crayons? We’ve got to keep an eye on him during those coloring sessions, or the toilet ends up all sorts of colors."

"Did you know Big Bird officiated his wedding? And everyone that attended had to pretend like it was a real 7-foot talking yellow bird, or else risk Eli getting upset and using his unusual strength to ruin the ceremony?"

"My brother is... well, you understand. I just couldn’t retire with fewer Super Bowls than him… I’ll leave it at that."

Being stuck in that pen can’t possibly be enjoyable, right? Even if they’re not truly penned in like NYE in Times Square, and even if there are bathrooms and refreshments, you’re standing up for hours and have to fight through a crowd to go anywhere and get back to your spot.

Just think of how long you're standing there due to when you have to show up to get as close as you get in gen pop.

My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Tied with Mel Ott at Number 25 is Miguel Cabrera at 511.

Bears taking a TE when they have 23 needs is very Jets energy. Hope it works out for them.

It’s defensible in that surrounding Williams with weapons is a good idea. But best case scenario seems to be their rebuilt FA OL works out and they win a lot of shootouts.

Too much other stuff going on, but that hunter trade is indefensible unless the plan is to play him full-time both ways, right?

Even then, is a 1 + 2 + 1 for a great WR or CB value?

Yes, an all pro at just about any position is worth that after the fact.

So Browns gotta take Sanders @ 33, right?

Wonder if the Browns regret not taking Hunter now. Getting Hunter and Sanders would have been very interesting and at the very least would have excited the fan base

If you don't think that a guy is all that good, you don't have to take him at any slot.

I wouldn't draft just to "excite my fanbase".
