Guess this week he's not talking about the Muslims in Jersey celebrating as the towers fell.

Where did that rumor start? I remember hearing it that very afternoon when I was in Newark, that Muslims in either Jersey City or Paterson were celebrating in the streets. I thought it was bullshit then, as this would’ve been a huge enough detail.
What am I thinking? The liberal media buried it, the same way they buried that all the Jews in the Towers took off that day. Can’t believe I was such a sheeple thinking it was bullshit.

Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

It's like the outtakes they played of video recovered from Osama's hideout after they got him.

In fairness, this is New Jersey, probably not the first time someone has tried this there.

Them getting him on taking documents from the White House seems to be like nailing Al Capone on tax evasion.

Re: To the extent it comes up: Trump crap post-WH years
The man on the left is Christopher Wray.
He admitted that the FBI didn't really look into Brett Kavanaugh as much as they should have with the 4,500+ tips they received during his confirmation hearing.
He took his cues from the White House on that, so it isn't on him completely, but still. I'm not into the 'praise Wray' tone of that tweet.

It isn't praising him. It is noting that the liberal left witch hunt line that Trump led with was led by an FBI director that he appointed. And, as you mention, did his bidding in the past.

Re: To the extent it comes up: Trump crap post-WH years
It's long been rumored, but I saw Maggie Haberman's book just came out with pictures of documents Trump tore up and flushed down the toilet. It's a federal crime for a President or WH staff to destroy official documents (Presidential Records Act, iirc). Again, this has been very well documented since the beginning of his Presidency, and maybe 6 months ago there were articles and witnesses saying Trump was hiding documents at Mar-a-Lago. I think when he fled the WH before Biden's inauguration there were reports that he ran off with documents. Hilarious that he gained so much traction crying about Hillary's emails when he insisted on using his standard iPhone to conduct Presidential business. And he used Rudy Guliani's cybersecurity firm to protect his phone. Rudy's firm was as big a joke as you'd expect. Their own website rated an "F" on security, a 0-100! They failed 8 out of the 11 standard security tests. That's who protected the President's iPhone. Absolutely guaranteed every country with a spy agency of more than 2 employees were hacked into his phone.

Yeah, it's not even like an "open secret" type deal... It's a known fact that he took stuff down to FLA. The freakin' National Archives were on the verge of putting in a formal complaint about it.

Re: To the extent it comes up: Trump crap post-WH years
That's something I don't understand about how the media covered Trump and all of his should-be scandals. There is a news story of him committing a crime, it's discussed for a few days, then 3 years later evidence comes out of the crime, and they cover it as though it's the first time we've known about it. And more important, NOTHING FUCKING HAPPENS!!!!Nonlinear FC wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 7:14 am Yeah, it's not even like an "open secret" type deal... It's a known fact that he took stuff down to FLA. I'm trying to figure out how to photoshop my face onto Edwin Diaz's body and have me jog out with the horns, reach the pitchers mound and say "Hey guys, maybe this is what sinks him". Give me a few more hours.

Re: To the extent it comes up: Trump crap post-WH years
I mean... I think folks are really losing the plot if they don't understand what is going down right now. A federal judge just signed off on a criminal search of a former president's home. He committed a crime (allegedly) and the FBI(!) was at his house, looking in his safe.
He's absolutely fucked. He's going to be looking at jail time, which will likely turn into something like house arrest with the Secret Service as his de facto jailers.
And this is just the start of it, because DoJ has him as a target for the electors fraud (at a minimum), and likely his effort to pressure Pence on J6. Not to mention the Fulton Co/Georgia DA has him dead to rights for this bullshit with election officials (coordinating that effort with Graham, Giuliani and others) for weeks leading up to J6.
Saying he's finished constantly for 6 years when the only means of "ending" him was some combo of congressional oversight/regulation, overwhelming media coverage and some longshot attempts to impeach him were NEVER convincing to anyone on this board. It was a somewhat funny bit, but it was also a straw man, as tennben pointed out.
But now? Damn right this is what ends him. He's fucked.
