I do write the lyrics. As it turns out, it is approx. 50 times easier to write country songs than raps.

The site I'm using is Suno.com - it will create lyrics on its own if you want it to, but they are generally stupid and follow very simplistic patterns. Almost like Shakespeare verses. Plus they are all clean and puritan and shizz. To get it to say what I want it to I have to be phonetic (eg. had to write the last part of verse 1 as "Keep it up I fuh-kin love thish it!").

The Mrs. is taking a trip to Turks and Caicos for 5 days for a 50th birthday trip. Last night she gave me a huge clump her necklaces and earrings that were jumbled together around 9:30 and asked if I could work to separate them. I was up until 3, and I got about 20 out, with the last four completely stuck. I then set my alarm for 5:30 to bring down her big-ass suitcase before heading back to bed for a few hours.

So what I'm saying is, she owes me to cosplay my favorite fictional bombshell when she gets back, right?

We have similar brains ... I did this for like an hour and a half during one of my kids b-day parties. I think she was like 7 and had gotten cheapy matching necklaces for the gift bags and they all got wound together. You basically don't want to stop until you're done because its admitting defeat.

A teacher at our kids’ future high school was arrested today for possession of child pornography which is obviously awful in and of itself. Turns out his wife is the head principal at another high school in town, and my buddy who’s now an AP has worked with both of them in the past. I can’t even imagine what she’s going through or the parents of the kids who go to that school now since he has admitted to having pics taken on campus. Here is her email to her staff this morning two hours after the FBI raided her home and the first time she found out about this.

Dear Taylor High Staff,

I am sure that many of you are aware of the incident involving my husband, James Stone. James was arrested this morning for possession of pornographic materials. His arrest and involvement in this criminal activity was unbeknownst to me or those closest to him. My family and I are deeply disappointed in his actions and thus we do not have any plans to be involved in James’ criminal proceedings as he navigates the next steps. It also important for me to confirm with you that I, nor any other family member, is implicated in James’ criminal activity.

Because the incident is still being investigated, law enforcement agencies are unable to provide additional information at this time, but know that the District and I take this incident very seriously and are fully cooperating with law enforcement.

Providing a safe and secure learning environment is and will continue to be the District’s and my top priority. An update will be provided by the District as information becomes available.

I greatly appreciate your support and understanding as this matter is addressed by law enforcement.

I read that one as using an umbrella term (child porn is a type of "pornographic materials") to avoid potentially getting herself into trouble if technically its still in the whispers stage. Just sending out the letter acknowledges he wasn't cranking to MILF porn.

It will never not piss me off that some stores that offer gift cards will only apply them to the full price price plus sales tax instead of to the item(s) before tax is calculated.

And then these same stores have the nerve to add on an additional charge because you pay with a credit card.

Pretty sure it would be tax fraud to not do that. It's not a discount, it's just a different way to pay. Otherwise, you'd could just always buy a gift card first and then buy what you want to buy and never pay taxes.
