Big win for TCU on the road against West Virginia.

For all intents and purposes an elimination game in Oxford tonight between Auburn and Ole Miss.

So Florida keeps Muschamp now right?

(In a related story the SEC East is a shithole. The now favorite to win the division lost to Indiana.)

Yeah it's horrible how the playoff reduces the intensity of a game like this. (Orange, in case it's not completely obvious.)

1.) Terps beat Penn State for the first time since 1961
2.) First win in 23 tries at Penn State.
3.) Terps get bowl eligible
4.) My FB feed had way less "We Are" and Happy Valley pictures than usual.

So, um, Razorbacks. Another heartbreaker. Hogs would be 7-1-1 if games ended at halftime.

I always wondered thats a tough call for tv execs. Gruesome injury but the play needs to be reviewed. Guess they have to show it.

I am horrified at the thought of winning enough games for Muschamp to save his job. But there is no way that performance is sustainable. 6 pass attempts? Somebody is going to be smarter than Georgia and realize all we can do is run the ball.

Muschamp only keeps his job if they beat Florida State

Yeah, I think Muschamp is done no matter what. I'm not sure beating FSU is enough, just like Hoke is gone even if Michigan somehow beats Ohio State.

With Dave Brandon gone, I think Hoke is as dead as dead can possibly be.

But, they did beat Indiana, who did beat Missouri, so maybe they are good enough to be an SEC division champ.

Beating FSU doesn't save Muschamp. I'd love to see it happen, though. These siege mentality Noles fans are really obnoxious.

A Clemson player just got ejected for targeting. He hit the receiver's chest with his shoulders. If the NCAA cares so much about player safety, they should flag QBs for throwing high passes into coverage.

Florida State fans have really come into their own over the past 18 months. The defensiveness is damn impressive

They're on their way to honorary SEC fan status.

It is an awesome weekend of college football. Top 15 match-ups in every time-slot with a couple top 10 games thrown in. Huge day in the Big XII in particular.

Mississippi State -46 against Tennessee-Martin.

State on the money line is -210000 which (if my math is correct) means that you'd have to bet $2,100 to win $10.

My money's on the Bulldogs.

This year has shown me that I have zero idea what is going to happen in a college football game anymore. Hoops can't come soon enough.

I just noticed - on that play, the first Oregon dude who picked the ball up (he later fumbled it as well and another guy took it back) had just come from out of bounds. I thought if you had been out of bounds and come back in, you couldn't be the next guy to touch the ball. Or is that only in the NFL? Or only for passes?

Yeah, that was outstanding work by the side judge.

And to answer my question from above, apparently illegal touching only counts for kickoffs, passes, and minors.

They should make one of those posters diagramming the play, but showing only the routes taken by the refs.

The one running the sideline with the Oregon players was showing some wheels!

Where is there 157 people voting in the FCS poll? Is that really necessary?

A. Harvard? Funny. Which of these things is not like the others?

B. While the D1 Virginia schools are sucking it up this year, the Commonwealth appears to be rocking the FCS.

I just read where Kansas fans stormed the field after beating Iowa State, a 2-7 team. How pathetic is that? Though I guess the surprising thing may be there were enough Jayhawk fans to actually tear down the goalposts...

The website that covers it the most always lists every voting member. The Big Sky conference has 18 voters. And 13 teams.

I'm insulted they didn't tear down the goalposts after beating Central Michigan. At least we have a winning record.

Too bad they don't. It's karma for how Bielema left Wisconsin. You can have him. We'll be just fine with Gary Anderson. Bielema will be looking for a new job in about 2 months.

He re-establishes before touching the ball, so that clears him in that instance.
