Swamp Finances

Post by Shirley »

Hey Swampers.

Apparently jpops has been paying for hosting for the Sports Frog out of his own pocket. It runs about $200 a year.

Considering that this is very much a community and he doesn't even really come around too much, I think it would make sense for us to chip in a bit and cover that.

Someone refresh my memory, but didn't someone set up some sort of PayPal account for this before? If not, is someone willing to do that now?

If not, does someone know how to set up something like this (with PayPal or some other service)? I think it'd be best if it's a separate account and not somebody's personal account.

Just let me know where to send the money. (my contribution, not the entire $200)

We might still have some money kicking in an account from last time, I think DSafe might know. But if not I'm good for $20 or $30 to keep us going awhile.

I'm also pretty sure D-Safe was the keeper of the funds the last time around. Just let us know where to send the funds.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Fuck J-Pops. Tell him the cost doubled, and soak him for the cost of a nice party.
Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

There is $755.14 in the account from the previous Swamp-a-Thon.

Wow. I thought we'd set one up before. Pm me your email address and I'll put you in touch with jpops.

Btw, where is this account and how did you set it up?

We've actually doubled it this year by betting against Syracuse.

As any good Swamp historian would know...back when the frog had a gamblin problem (back when we had a front page)....we would have probably gone bankrupt before conference play started.

He's been paid.

We don't need to start another Swamp drive at this time, unless there are different expenses coming down the pipe.

Thank you, sir!

This was even easier than I expected. I think I'm gonna make this a regular thread now.

The yearly $200 is due again. DSafe, do we have the funds to cover it?

Yep. PM me the address to whom it should be sent.

And I was confused why the PayPal account, which is tied to an email address only used for the account, had an email with a deposit earlier today.
