I kept waiting for the other woman to catch on and stop struggling over first names when she seemed to have the last name down. Wasted a lot of time.
And still smoked the "expert"
lolz there are a few people on there who I would consider trivia "experts" in their categories. Most of us were just regular ass people tho
It also seems like they made the questions super basic. Even categories where I didn’t think I knew much, I knew most of the answers. Just don’t know how well I’d do under pressure after standing around all day.

BTW, I loved when you jumped back as the floor spot next to you was turning gold.

Had to take off my cans to eavesdrop on a conspiracy convo happening behind me at a coffee shop. It started benignly enough with "Boulder is the shadow government of Colorado" and morphed into "modern society suppresses our ability to recognize ogres, trolls, and fairies among us but Native Americans can still communicate with them."

I mean... I think I've said on here that one of the drinking games we played in college was that exact thing. We got to the point of naming D3 schools not in our conference.

The dumbest fun one we did was like 12 years after HS graduation, four of us sat in a circle (with an audience) and tried to name everyone in our graduating class of like 90. Early part flies through but then you start to get into "remember this person" and shit and the one we couldn't remember at all became Mrs. Irrelevant to this day.

I used to love those! Only had them a few times, but I'm convinced I remember exactly what they taste like. I'm also thinking I'd find them too sweet as an adult.

If you want to compare them to good cornbread, yeah, it's going to suck. I'm going to look for these and pick them up if I see them. If any of the stores I go to carry it, I certainly haven't noticed. My other memory of them is the texture. Supernaturally smooth.

not sure what other thread to place this (I know we have tossed around misheard lyrics a bunch of places) but have been for some reason wondering about The Cars' Bye Bye Love lyrics and it occurred to me the lyric in the chorus really can't be "it's just a fucking alibi" so I looked it up and it is actually "it's just a broken lullabye" which, sure, altho "it's just a fucking alibi" would have hit so much harder, really...

I saw it driving down the street while walking our dog in the morning last weekend, then at our son's school last night (too dark) and this morning (just right). With the recent spate of articles about "how to keep your Cybertruck from corroding on the outside", I found it to be a particularly curious decision to purchase in the local climate and its accompanying road safety measures.

Saw one in the wild a few weeks ago. Just a stupid, stupid automobile. There were fingerprint marks all over it, and it definitely made some weird "transmission" sounds as it was driving. Since there isn't a transmission in that car, maybe it was suspension noise? Who knows?
