Airfare to Japan has been CRAZY low for the past six or so months. Like, taking my family of 5 for $1600 RT. I've heard that Japan has been more cautious approving vaxxes, NOT that the populace is anti-vaxx.

Yes the populace has a reason. Not batshit crazy conspiracy theorists like Americans.

Here’s another view. Maybe the guy didn’t know that you are not allowed to steal one of the player’s clubs and make like you are going to hit his club head cover off the 10th tee.

First off... Um, security?

Maybe not for every pair, but you'd think the top player in the world, plus one of the most famous, might have at least someone with walkie talkie plugged into security would be trailing them.

In terms of the golfer and caddy reactions, I don't have an issue with that. It's a golf course. The guy wasn't being threatening, just fucking off the charts weird.

You see a homeless guy acting like a lunatic in the park... You going straight up to that guy and confronting him?

Seems odd that Annika gets to play, but it's not like she is running away with it. I guess the yardage is the issue.

Annika pulls into the lead!

I think the most compelling version of this would be for Phil to play, but he has to spot the field 10 points a round.

JR smith has asked ncaa for waiver to play college golf. He never went to college and therefore has eligibility technically in non basketball sports.

DJ is the most interesting name here, since RBC sponsors his left arm, and because he has some significant Canadians in his family. The rest of this is pretty meh.

Maybe I just don't understand money in that stratosphere, but how is present day Dustin Johnson worth anything close to $125MM?

Leveraging a team to the hilt upon purchasing it is slightly more palatable to sportswashing a dictatorship.

I really doubt that the USGA would give effect to another organization's ban in setting eligibility for an open tournament. Augusta is another story since they can invite and disinvite whoever they want. But whether they ban or not, a lot of the criteria for a Masters invite or an exemption from Open qualifying involve amassing points on the PGA Tour or wins in PGA Tour events. If you're not on the Tour and you haven't won a major before, your best bet to qualify is probably OWGR. I wonder how the OWGR will treat LIV events. Even if they stay neutral to the politics, how do you compare the two competitions?
