The "keep Brian Hoyer Starting" lobby sure isn't doing itself any favors today.

There might be a brawl in Philly between the Eagles and the refs. I think isitstinky is the head official of this game.

Suh got flagged for forearm to chest today so that's not even close to the worst PF today.

All of the players (6) the Rams sent out for the coin toss today were acquired in the RGIII trade. Some epic trolling by Fisher there.

Massive win for the Pats and they knew it. Pretty much guarantees playoffs, division and probably a bye. Add back Chandler Jones and maybe theyre on to something.

The way that he has played for the past month - when the playoffs were within reach - makes me wonder if he'll even stick as a backup in the league next year.

He did not make a single important pass today. Pure garbage for four straight weeks.

And Doug Marrone through up the white flag with 5 minutes left and the Bills down two TDs. So he punts on 4th and 2. A very dismal afternoon of football around here.

I just have to think Manziel gets the call this week. Hoyer did Pettine a favor. The defense made it interesting, but I had a sinking feeling all game that Luck was going to do just enough.

Pretty sure when Steelers get into the playoffs, they are going to the Super Bowl. No teams with losing records there. What an odd team to lose the games they have lost. They are really, REALLY, good offensively.

Heh. You're not the first to make that observation. They're .500 over the last 3 years against teams that finished the season under .500...by far the worst among winning teams over the last three years. Expect that to get worse this year. Not sure how you don't put that on the coaching staff.

They only get blame for the losses, but not credit for the wins?

I think a lot of it can but so much weird stuff seems to happen in those games - I thought they played well against the Titans and then the weird ass fumbles by AB against the Jets and the 8 fumbles against Cleveland.

Boomer Esiason probably called it right. He said they would start Hoyer against the Colts, thinking whoever the QB was would look bad, so bring in Manziel in a better situation. Keeps confidence in Manziel, shuts up fans who would have called for Hoyer if Manziel sucked.

Also, Manziel is going to look GREAT against the Cincy defense.

I did too. I affirmed TB's observation that if they get in the playoffs, they could do well as they won't be playing any shitty teams.

I think I just saw the first unnecessary roughness call ever called on a scrum for a fumble.

Also, wasn't it a clear fumble and recovery by Atlanta? No challenge, no commentary about the call from the announcers? Maybe I'm missing something here.

The fix being in for the Packers? How have you missed the last 30 years of the NFL?

Rodgers faked that pass rusher right out of his shoes.

I'm hoping that Jon Gruden decides to go back to coaching next season.
