Who have been the best follows for the Russia stuff? Rick Wilson and Tea Pain are the most entertaining and seem to know what they're talking about. I lasted about a week with Louise Mensh and Claude Taylor, but it was way too much nonsense (although I think they are getting real info from maybe one good source, but it's lost in the rest of the shit they do). Kyle Griffin has been the best info guy with lots of "are you fucking kidding me?" stories. Just followed Seth Abramson who is patting himself on the back a lot right now, but he seems to describing things pretty well.

Isn’t Mensch the one who reported Trump or Pence would be getting the death penalty?

Did Twitter deauthorize access from third-party apps or something? The Echofon app on my iPad keeps reporting I have to reauthorize access from Twitter, and if I try it says the Twitter server is down. Using the Twitter app itself is fine, but that app is ridiculously terrible. Anyone else having this issue?

There is no Bob Hill Lane in San Francisco.

That's generally the neighborhood name. My listing in Nextdoor has the general area name, not a specific street.

It's not San Francisco. It's actually New Canaan, Connecticut per the comments. We have enough craziness out here without lumping us with people who think you need a bris to drink.

OK well, that was absolutely the point of me posting that, sure.

I'll double check the official listings from now on.

If this came from a comedian, I'd give it a pass as a bad joke, but coming from a former WH Press Secretary, this is just shocking and in poor taste. Then factor in he was W's WHPS, and the dead President is W's father? Fuck, don't quit your day job, Ari. Oh, your day job is running a communications company? Yeah, I don't think I'll be hiring your firm any time soon.

So you think he just meant to say "every living former VP is in attendance," but mangled to wording?

I get why that's a shitty look for him of all people to tweet something that can be interpreted so poorly, but I thought it was like 90% of the way to something sort of poignant. I dunno, I'm tired.

There should be a word for that weird feeling of happiness when a celebrity likes one of your Tweets.

Maybe it's just a thing in my city, but I can't get over the trend (and its stupidity) of local TV anchors/reporters simply quote tweeting things from their affiliate or national network's twitter account and basically repeating the contents of the tweet and not adding anything at all for their <10K followers (who likely already follow the network or affiliate in the first place). I want to meet the person who thought that was a good social media strategy.

If I were to guess there’s a drone at the station that retweets on the behalf of all the accounts to further the spread of the story but doesn’t add commentary because it’s just a step in the process.
