The 2015 Trivia Calendar

Post by wlu_lax6 »

Okay so as we learned last year louthegiantrat and I have our exchange of page a day trivia calendars. Last year I apparently pickedthe celebrity jeopardy calendar. Tried to keep entering them here, but the questions were not worth the effort. I think I stepped up the effort this year.

What percentage of New Year's celebrants who make resolutions are successful at achieving their goals?

Had that, but I was trying to come up with a joke answer that somehow tied together OD'ing in your bathtub and being executed. "Islands in the Stream" wasn't good enough, gave up.

Anything to do with the fact that pigeon racing was a popular sport?

at the time, the droppings were teh only known source of saltpeter, which was essential in making gunpowder. Dependence on pigeon poop in the manufacture of gunpowder ended in the late 18th century with the discovery and mining of naturally occurring saltpeter in South America.

Only 0.7 hp, based on the definition of horsepower, which is the power needed to lift 33,000 pounds one foot in one minute. In short bursts, a horse can reach between 2 and 3 hp, but working continuously, it drops to 0.7
