Are we doing the keeper league this year?

If anyone drops out I'll be willing to take over the team. What's the entry fee?

Who's in charge of this league? It's not looking promising. If we can't get the keeper league up and running does anybody want to start fresh? I won't commission the league, but I'll play.

I'd much prefer continuing with the old league though.

Does not help much but those are the older threads.

I'll start fresh, depending on the league settings and platform (I only do ESPN and prefer auction drafts).

I'd get in to if there are spots left.

If there's enough interest, I'll commish a Yahoo keeper league. I won't participate in a league on ESPN.

If we do a Yahoo league, the interested parties are:

Sabo
RBaller3
Diamond
Timgod99

Replace Sabo with Grasspenis if you do an ESPN league, but you'll need to find a new commish.

How about a $25 entry fee, auction draft, NL and AL player pool?

Suggested roster spots:

C
1B
2B
3B
SS
CI
MI
OF
OF
OF
OF
DH

Three SPs
Three RPs
Three Ps of any kind

Four bench spots
Two DL spots

Suggested stats:

Offense: Runs, HRs, RBIs, SBs, AVG, OBP
Pitching: Wins, Losses, Saves, Ks, ERA, WHIP

Thoughts?

IN. Thank you for agreeing to organize it!

I'm good with Yahoo. C'mon grasspenis, it's not that bad.

(Also, I'd like to vote NO for the Losses category)

My friend Mike, who used to work with me and DTW in the last century, says he'll participate.

So, we have five interested parties. I'd like at minimum 10 teams for the league, and I think 12 teams would be ideal.

IN:

Sabo
Rballer3
Mike

TENTATIVE:

Timgod99
Diamond

This is non-negotiable. Grasspenis is out.

Need someone to fill a 12-team MLB semi-advanced roto-league over on Yahoo that drafts maƱana night. Post here if you're interested

I might be. Is it for money? How much?

For the sake of everybody else, I will pass. Won't pay enough attention with no money involved.

I am hoping to join one more league though.

Fantasy help needed.

Who will hit the most home runs from now through the end of the year? (Pick two)

Carlos Beltran
Anthony Rizzo
Giancarlo Stanton

I think Beltran is a no-brainer, because he has 23 on the year, is in a contract year, and in the playoffs hunt.

Rizzo is streaky as hell, and might end up sitting some games in September.

Stanton is killing me. Most talented of the bunch, but has zero protection in the line-up, and isn't getting shit to hit.

What say ye?

I believe that this time of the year has more games with wind blowing out at Wrigley than with wind blowing in, but I'm not positive.

Stanton was one of my keepers this season and he's frustrating as hell. I'm distancing myself from fantasy Stanton next year - tried to trade him this year and couldn't get much return value. I don't know. I might actually take Rizzo, but - Stanton can go on a tear whenever. Damn. I'm no help.
