The 2015 National Championship Game

Post by A_B »

One stop for all your action. I'm traveling for work, so I will be watching the game from the friendly confines of the Princeton, IN Hampton Inn.

But I have my Spongelike-ninja-duck Avatar and a bottle of Westward malt Whiskey which is making the trip with me.

Ah yes, I watched one of the BCS championships (the one with Sam Bradford in it) in a Courtyard by Marriott. You haven't lived unless you do that once.

I watched the Terps win the 2002 NCAA Championship in a time share/condo. Close enough?

How important is the suspension to Carrington?

I only watch a few games a year, so no idea how good the guy is.

I think the Carrington suspension hits the Ducks hard, but not enough for me to advise anything then betting Oregon and/or the over. Really looking forward to this game - I'm hoping the Fuckeyes get destroyed but think it will be close until late when the Ducks get a couple of late scores to make it a 10 to 13 point win.

I was traveling for the Ohio State/Florida game - was in Raleigh - watched it with Dave. Meeting Dave was great, watching tOSU get mauled far less great.

Hope this game is more entertaining for the country.

Think it'll be close. Looking forward to seeing what Urban Meyer comes up with to stop the Ducks offense.

Six channels. I am most interested in what Julie Foudy and Stink have to say about the game.

Now OSU will start on 15 and 1/4 line not 1/4 line. Stupid penalty.

NCAA decision to pander to corporate sponsor Crisco for running the footballs pregame wasn't smart.

Ohio State may win this game but Oregon is gonna win the war. No way am I staying up for the end of this. This is going to be a niche west coast sport if they insist on playing at 8:30 on a Monday.

Scoring too quickly might be a problem for Oregon right now. Providing they score, of course.

ESPNU would have done a lot better to bring back the World Cup crew to watch the game together. I would have paid to see Ballack and RVN talking about this.

The no-announcers, stadium natural sound channel showed the Pride of Ohio State Band halftime show. "Salute to the Wizard of Oz" (what year is this?) Unfurled a rainbow flag at the end; I guess that is cutting edge satire. Should've stuck with dotting the 'i'.

Edit: lower case 'i'

Ducks have some weird magic juju to make other teams simply drop the ball in the playoffs.

ETA: They added the piece about scoring points off the turnovers they force.

If Joey Bosa plays in the NFL he might end up getting fined for more money he makes. He's a dirty, dirty player.

That was a finable offense in the NFL for sure, but it was right on the edge. Mariota isn't Rodgers!

Cardale Jones has been a stud player these past three games. But, now let's again harken back to when we first heard his name:
