In treatment, per the Browns.

There's been no official reason given, but...

I read Bruce Feldman's 'The QB: The Making of Modern Quarterbacks' this week. It's about private coaches and 'quarterback gurus' like Steve Clarkson and George Whitfield, and the astronomical amount of money that is being poured into this stuff. The reason I read it was Manziel. Feldman spent a lot of time with Manziel over the course of a year, from after his freshman season leading up to the 2014 draft. He comes off about as you'd expect: playful, cocky, sometimes short-tempered, occasionally blowing off workouts, etc. But if you read that great Wright Thompson piece in 2013, there's nothing here that will surprise you.

Overall, the book is an interesting read. But be forewarned: Trent Dilfer is featured prominently, and he fashions himself as some sort of motivational speaker. He seems very self-satisfied with the language that he's creating, referencing 'the quarterback space' and the need to 'develop the confidence muscle' and 'Dude Qualities,' etc. You will want to punch somebody/something when you read his words.
