Little Richard, trying to subtly seduce JB, writing the words 'Please! Please! Please!'

ETA: heh, the song I thought was a good guess at his first hit. But I was completely joking about the Little Richard part - I'm good at this game!

Obviously we've got to raise the bar here.

6. The song Strange Fruit was one of the few modern popular American songs to focus on the lynching of black men by mobs of white men. Billie Holiday cut it in the late 1930s.

In what state did the lynching that inspired the song occur?
Who wrote the song?
What was his ethnic background?
What else was he famous for?

I'm going to have to challenge this test based on adverse impact. The results unfairly skew in favor of blacks and those over 40. Really 60, but the law gives me some cushion here.

Kind of racist to think that blacks are more interested in James Brown, no? It's been proven that under the right conditions, white people can feel the funk. Consider the friendship between James Brown and Richard Nixon. And old people are a protected class. Also, the gays.

So, your challenge is dismissed on multiple grounds. If I were you, I'd worry about disbarment not adverse impact.

Kind of racist? Give me some credit, that was full on racist. But it's OK, because some of my internet friends tell me they are black (even though they used to write for a Hispanic sports site). While protecting old people was the original intent, courts now protect people under 40 as a protected class. I just need to get my shots in now, as I have a year and a half before I join the ranks of those needing protection due to being old. Fuckity, fuck fuck.
