Does anyone have a good link where I can watch the PC-St. Johns game right now?

I thought this was to mention that La Salle is 1/4th of the way to the dream.

So i was flipping around last night and saw that texas was up 10 on a good team late in the second half. Was curious to see how Rick Barnes might try to fuck that up.

I was not disappointed. He had NO gameplan down the stretch. They have a supposedly strong frontline, and the ball hardly left the guards' hands. Ended game on an 0-12 run and also took a shot with 6 seconds left, leaving iowa state enough time to run down the court and make the game winner (which was an awesome shot).

Rick Barnes - never change.

The Texas faceplant coinciding with Georgetown trailing late against the 10-seed (Creighton) in the Big East tourney had me drafting a tweet in my head, but the Hoyas' comeback saved my thumbs the effort.

And by the way, that Creighton to the Big East thing is working out really well for the conference. You got Doug McDermott for a year, which ended in a 30-point loss in the NCAA's to a lower-seeded Baylor, and now a new team hanging out in the basement. I guess that means DePaul is happy, though.

One game away for #3MU. If Akron upsets Buffalo in the second semifinal they'll be playing their 5th game in 6 days tomorrow. But Central has beaten Buffalo twice this year already.

CMU vs. SUNY-Buffalo. Some wake up Sybian and tell him his alma mater is a game away from the Big Dance.

I think if Wisconsin wins today, either Duke or UVa loses its one seed. Should be Duke, but I wouldn't rule anything out.

Although Duke has 4 losses, they have by far the most impressive wins of the teams in the mix for the 3 remaining #1 seeds. I think they are probably safe, and the final two #1s will be between UVA, Wisconsin, and Arizona. I believe Lunardi has Villanova as a #1 seed, but I'm really not sold on the Big East. Their best win all year is probably @ Providence. If I had to guess, I'd say UVA is the odd team out since they've lost 2 of their last 3 games. Fair or not, I think the committee would reward Arizona and Wisconsin for winning both the regular season and tournament titles.

I'd put Duke ahead of Virginia in terms of chances for a #1 seed, but would put them both above Villanova though I doubt the selection committee will be. And this whole geographic based seeding shit is ridiculous - it should be straight up S-curve based at least for the top 4 seeds in each region.

If Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nova all win their conference tourneys, I have no problem with UVA getting bumped. I'm not too happy with the way the Hoos are playing right now. Although, in fairness, they lost in the final seconds on the road at Louisville and then in a very close ending in Greensboro (pseudo-home game) to UNC. Those really are not bad losses.

That said, UVA needs to pick up their intensity and cut the turnovers or it's going to be another disappointing NCAA run.

I agree. I think Arizona is the second-best team in the country but they're probably also behind Duke due to the Pac-12 being weaker than the ACC. If they win tonight they'll be 5-0 vs. Oregon and Utah, with a win against Gonzaga, but I still think Duke's best wins are more impressive. I also agree on the S-curve point. Obviously, Kentucky will be favored against anyone, but ideally they'd get Kansas as their #2 instead of Wisconsin or Arizona.

That was a really entertaining game. Nice seeing two coaches who were willing to let their teams run up and down the court.

It can get just a little less U.C. (Davis, Santa Barbara, LA and Berkeley all out. Irvine vs Hawai'i tonight for the Big West spot.)

That's CMU's game. They're 3rd out of 350 teams in 3s. They played their ass off Buffalo didn't miss shit. Respect.

Saw CMU win in Buffalo mid-Feb. That's the game these two play, loved it again. I had a good feeling for a rematch, worked out that way like Brian said with UB making shots this time. Woo-hooo!!! Finally in the tournament.

SEC sucks other than UK. They seem to be for real, but im seeing a UNLV type scenario. They probably walk to the final four or at least the second weekend but im thinking theyre gonna get two real games at some point.

It's not like UK didn't play anyone out-of-conference though. Depending on if Texas gets in, they have 5 or 6 nonconference wins against tourney teams, including a 32-point win over Kansas (a 2 or 3 seed). UCLA isn't getting in, but UK also beat them by 39.

Dont I know it. They handled UNC earlier this year, but still. Not taking credit away from UK as much as disappointment in the SEC tourney games I saw.
