Matt Scrafton, who covers Blackpool FC for the Blackpool Gazette, wrote on Twitter that Belokon has already rejected the offer, saying it wasn't enough to satisfy what he's owed (which is something in the £25M+ range).

Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
If Val B can get approval to run the team, he has all of the negotiating power after the court case. The only reason the pool is not in some form of administration is because Val knows that will crush the value of the team, maybe relegate them, and turn the fans against him. So slow playing this is the right move. Just keep waiting to see if he gets a green light to run the team and until then just keep using the MPs to liquidate the rest of the Oysten property. I look forward to the day the MPs come out with trashbags full of Dick Tracey suits and hats.
Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Looks like Owen Oyston is feeling the pressure. He gave a statement to the Blackpool Gazette that makes some rather, uh, remarkable claims.
My favorite bit is his claim that Blackpool's recent improved on-field performance is directly related to appointing his daughter Natalie as the chairwoman of the team.
Also of note is the team is struggling financially and only has enough money to see out the rest of the season.

Pool plays Stanley tomorrow.. Reading about them and came across this gem

Boy 1: "Milk! Urghh!"
Boy 2: "It's what Ian Rush drinks."
Boy 1: "Ian Rush?"
Boy 2: "Yeah. And he said if I didn't drink lots of milk, when I grow up, I'll only be good enough to play for Accrington Stanley."
Boy 1: "Accrington Stanley, who are they?"
Boy 2: "Exactly."
In the weekly football show, Soccer A.M., the phrase "Accrington Stanley, who are they?" is said every time a fixture is read out that has the club in it, referring to the milk advert.

Seeing those thousands of empty seats you’d never believe this team was in the Premier League in this decade.

Yep. Also noticed when Bradford City scored, their cheers were much louder than when Blackpool scored.
This game has been bonkers, by the way. 3-2 Blackpool in the 93rd minute after being down 2-0. The Seasiders scored three goals in six minutes to take the lead.

So pool win 1-0 against Plymouth Argyle. But in the 90+3, 2 guys on pool got reds for fighting each other.

Hot league Cup action...up 1-0 in the 66th v. QPR

Pool at Emirates right now for League Cup
Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Pool are tied on points and only 1gd back of promotion playoff spot.
Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Today could be a huge day for Blackpool FC.
Barristers for Valeri Belokon and Owen Oyston are in court today over Oyston's lack of action with regards to paying Belokon. About 15 months ago, a judgement was made that Oyston illegally stripped assets from Blackpool FC in order to not pay Belokon. The court ordered Oyston to pay £31 million to Belokon, but only £10 million has been paid so far.
Based on what I'm reading on Twitter and AVFTT, many Blackpool fans feel the judge will appoint a receiver to operate the club while assets are sold. If that happens, Blackpool will probably see a 12-point deduction in the table. They are currently in 8th place in League One, and a 12-point deduction would put them three points clear of relegation. But Blackpool fans are so weary of Oyston, they're willing to take the points drop as long as it means he no longer owns the team or stadium.
The following Twitter account is posting very biased anti-Oyston updates from the court if you're so inclined:

So those 2 points they gave away against Sunderland yesterday would have helped.

Does the British Media only have one picture of Oyston (the one that makes him look like a Batman Villain). They use this same picture every time.

Well looks like Pool will stay in League 1 for next season. 7 points out of 6th with 2 games to play.

And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.
Re: Up the Pool (or maybe just not Get Relegated)
Well looks like Blackpool will be in a better spot this year than one of their league 1 competitors. Bury, founded in 1885 could be expelled and could have their first fixture suspended because they can't guarantee safety at Giggs Lane.

Blackpool just Blackpooling
We regret to announce that due to a failure by Errea, the manufacturer of the club’s playing kit, the in-store release of the 2019-20 home kit has been delayed.
Errea informed the club at the end of last week that it is unable to fulfil the delivery schedule agreed several weeks ago because of production errors in its factory. We have been further informed that, notwithstanding that agreed delivery schedule, Errea has not yet commenced manufacturing the replica home kit.
The club is extremely disappointed by this news and feels very badly let down by Errea, given that until receiving this news it was fully expected that the kit would be on sale for this weekend’s game against Bristol Rovers. It is unclear exactly how a failure of this magnitude could occur, but fans can be assured that we will continue to ask questions of Errea in order to gain a complete understanding of the situation.
It is now anticipated that the new home kit will arrive late August/early September, however the club will continue to do everything within its power to have the kit on sale as soon as possible.
Pre-orders for the new home shirt remain valid, with items to be dispatched once in stock. The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
In the meantime, the club can confirm that the release of the new away kit has been brought forward, allowing supporters to purchase it from 8.30am tomorrow (Friday).

My only connection with the club is buying a Seasiders mug when I was in blackpool 30 years ago... but that clip made me very happy!
