And this is the first USMNT jersey I remember watching, the Rick Davis Era. I even had a Rick Davis soccer video game.

Equally hoping the one about the Warriors turns out not to be. I thought we had finally started to get past the trend of adding black to perfectly good color schemes.

That is beyond hilarious.

I've been seeing a lot of kids (meaning teenagers and cool guys in their 20s) wearing "Vintage" Raptor shit this summer.

It's going to be hard not to yell that Oakley remark net time I see one.

Nope...Francis Scott key.

Know more than one verse, man!

O say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner, O! long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country, should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation.
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave
You know what you need? A lyrical sucker punch to the face.

Huh, didn't there was an extra verse, or didn't remember. I'm sure they took out the last verse because it said "under God" and they want to eradicate Christianity.

I like the uniforms with the exception of the writing. I know that's a big exceptions, but the helmets would be really cool without the writing.

That's it. I can't post in a swamp where people don't know all four verses of the National Anthem. Don't even get me started on the 5th verse from the Civil War.

I've reached the limits of my own barbaroism.

So the thing I forgot to ask/understand was, isn't Maryland going to lose a timeout per quarter for violating the uniform rules. Vanderbilt got in some trouble just 2 weeks ago for this type of thing.
ESPN Article wrote:The Commodores had their team slogan "Anchor Down" written on the back of their jerseys. NCAA rules say a jersey may contain only a player's name, the school name, the NCAA logo, sleeve stripes, an American flag, a state flag or a logo for a school, conference, mascot, postseason game, memorial or the military.

I guess the NCAA gave Maryland a one-time exception to the rule. Guess the NCAA does not hate America.

Really? I missed the part where the American army sailed down the Thames, marched into London, and burned down Westminster and Buckingham Palace.

A couple more ties like that we'd be in bad shape.

(jk, this war always cracks me up as particularly pointless.)
