Speaking of that, San Jose (home of the Class A San Jose Giants) has a larger population than San Francisco.

When I went to a game there a few weeks ago with my parents and sister and her husband, I was told that teams don't want to have a minor league affiliate there because the altitude/thin air totally messes up the pitchers.
