I put a small bet on the Banglas at 5-1 thinking they might be able to put up a big score and make the Aussies sweat, but I don't think they're going to get close today. Looks like 320 will be a good score for them.

Same, I've made a similar bet. Bangladesh is 20-1 right now at the 22nd over.
If they can keep just 2 wickets down for another 10 overs, they have a shot.

247 needed off 27, little over 9 an over, can't let that rate get much higher

The Banglas can hit, that's for sure. I bet last night before the game hoping they might bat first and put up a big number and force the Aussies to press, but that turned out the other way around. Oh well.

They need some better bowlers and they could be a contender. Wouldn't be surprised to see them make some noise in the T20 World Cup next year.

Still think England catches Sri Lanka with two or three overs to spare, but if they lose...gonna be some definite heat on this team from media and fans, even if a top four finish still would be likely.

Still have Buttler, Ali and Woakes still in the shed, and plenty of time

Yeah, they're deep, so even a wicket or two wouldn't be the end of the world. I'm saying they'll win it in the 46th over.

Good decision on SL to review. South Africa outsmarted themselves not using the review in that game a couple of days ago. No sense hanging on to it with only 19 overs left if it's really close.

I'm still sticking with my prediction. I think England will get a couple of sixes from the next three overs.

ETA: Welp, that wicket didn't help them. Now it's really interesting. Probably 50/50 on the live odds.

That's ninth wicket should be the ballgame. I wonder what the live odds were on Sri Lanka after "only" scoring 233. Could have made a mint with a punt on SL (Guessing they were probably about 12-1 to 15-1).

Hard to believe England hasn't beaten Sri Lanka in the World Cup since 1999. 0-4 since then.

Afghanistan have restricted India to just 224, possible upset here?

Nice ground too.

I still think they’re going to struggle to catch India even at that small a number but shocked India couldn’t get at least 250 much less 300 against Afghanistan. This would be the shocker of the tournament.

100 up and just 2 down.

4 down

Run rate has gone over 6. 109 needed from 106

This was a good wake up call for India. They’re not going to be able to just turn it on in the semifinals.

Gonna be a corker tomorrow -- England/Australia and so much on the line for England. The schedule doesn't get much easier and they're probably gonna have to get at least two more points to move on.

New Zealand are top with 11 points but they have PAK, AUS and ENG left.

Pakistan have NZ, AFG, BAN.

If Pakistan beats New Zealand on Wednesday, that'll throw the whole tournament up in the air.

It's a pity the NZ v India game was washed out, would have given an idea of exactly how good NZ are.

England will be very happy they aren't chasing a total well in excess of 300

Those three quick wickets kind of took some of the excitement out of this chase. England still very much in it of course, but they've dug a decent hole.

Summer won't be summer without an England batting collapse.

Those 38 run by Carey down the order could be absolutely crucial at the end of the day.

I knew that when the arrogant British media started going on about how this tournament was boring and that the top 4 had been decided with still 20+ matches to go, that the tournament would be turned upside and we'd get close and exciting matches.

How much is being done as far as analytics in cricket these days? Because seems like it's absolutely ripe for some of the bigger countries to invest in it (or for some of the "smaller" countries to invest in order to bridge the talent gap.
