Wow, that story looks really long... What about him?
Try just the last three paragraphs.
Long story short is that despite initial appearances, the incident isn't a match for this thread.

Probably, if you kept up with the story or just came across it. It took less than two months for them to close the investigation. I did neither (or did the latter, but only just this past weekend when I read this (recent) article).

These are a first for me....some Occupy Wall Street Jokes I found on reddit. Based more on wit than slapstick, but pretty good, imho.
The NYPD is being forced to pay a $350,000 settlement for an illegal raid during Occupy Wall Street. And since the NYPD is funded by taxpayers, and the bulk of the settlement will go to lawyer’s fees… it was the exact opposite of what the Occupy movement set out to do.
Clearly this will send a strong message. “If you think you can steal from the working class and give it to the wealthy… well, we can… facilitate that for you.”
The Occupy lawyers are encouraging protesters to retake Zuccotti park, maybe, say… once per fiscal quarter?

I wanna get compensation for the defribrillator, cardiac monitor, and other medical supplies I donated, that the pigs destroyed, at the direction of their tyrannical overlords. Should've went to law school.
I didn't realize realize Montreal turned into Oceania. Good to know.

Wouldn't you be able to taste the rubbing alcohol in the orange juice? It's not THAT lethal is it? You'd have to put enough in there to affect the taste, I'd think.

Good point.
Google says 8.5 oz is lethal. Less than that can blind you. I'd guess a swig of godawful beverage that you'd probably spit out would be ok.

Here's a new one: Drinking an Arizona Iced Tea while black.
What the fuck? The cop had no right to ask him about that tea. And the cop violated his civil rights with an illegal search. Lawyers are going to be all over this shit.
Don't get me fucking started on zero tolerance fucking bullshit. Arrested? God I fucking hate this country. Just as easily in the what the fuck is wrong with people thread, but I guess that one is for abuse including physical aspects.
Scroll down, below the interactive map, to the first table. School shootings since Newtown. My point is not the same as the authors of this piece. My point is that the number of school shootings has drastically increased in the past few years. The number of guns has not.
This fact, that people are losing it much more frequently, is what inspired this thread. This was not caused by reaching a magical 'tipping point' number of guns; this will not be solved by any practical, realistic gun control legislation by any state, locality or federal government.
The cause of the increase in people losing their shit does not lay with the number of guns. Same for the solution. There are plenty of good reasons to impose gun control*, but this motive is pure fantasy.
My words on guns here is not a casual choice. I am not making a gun control argument; I am seeking to explain and understand why things are falling apart/why people are losing their shit and committing murder and other violence. And I seek to eliminate noise in the discussion, such as 'it's the guns'.
*(even though I consider the bad reasons to outweigh those good reasons by a wide margin.)
I ain't saying the gun is not an important tool to losing it

Don't blame me. I'm just going through my Sunday morning news reading. Although I'm gonna guess the MSM will love telling this story in the weeks to come.
I love rampaging bulldozer stories. They always crack me up. It would be different if someone squished a bunch of people, of course, but driving through houses and over cars? That's just funny.
The victim was possibly a soldier, the perpetrators were possibly Islamists.

The one on Craziest Videos or whatever with a dude going down a street in a tank is awesome.
