Swamp Fantasy Hockey 2015/2016

So, I've re-started the engine for the Swamp fantasy hockey league. Invitations were sent to last season's participants. If you'd like to join the league but weren't in it last season, let me know and we'll add you.

I was thinking of setting the auction draft for Saturday, Sept 26 at something like 3:00 Eastern time. Please weigh in. If people prefer something different, let me know - if enough people can agree on a different plan we will change it.

I'm in. I may not be able to make that time, but I'll just go auto-draft if so.

I think i'll have to pass this year. Plan is to be out of the country for most of the winter, doubt I'll be able to actively keep up the roster. (though if you have an odd number and need 1 more I'll still draft a team, just don't think i'll be very timely with dropping injured players etc after late november.)

This is always a fun draft. My six-year-old got all excited watching and bid $14 for Craig Smith, thanks, buddy! I got worried about money and let Ryan get away with Eichel at $12, then wound up with extra cash. Trade him to me, I'll send you a box of SweeTangos.

I would do it to support oiler, but I'm already in two hockey leagues and two football leagues. I don't think I have any more bandwidth.

Yeah, similarly, in my non-Swamp league last week, I played Gibson over Varlamov in a game between their teams, and missed out on Varly's 37-save shutout. In a league with a category for shutouts.

So glad I've been keeping up with this the last week. Had no idea playoffs had started and only 4 teams made it.

Just won my league for the 3rd straight year after tying the week long championship matchup. 136.2 to 136.2.
