Here are the rules we used in 2014:
Official Rules:
1) Each player must make 100 picks.
2) Each player must make 10 picks per week (20 picks in Week 9):
- If less than 10 picks are made, each game missed is counted as a loss
- If more than 10 picks are made, all picks beyond the 10th pick are treated as having never been made.
3) One pick per week must be designated as a best bet (2 points).
- Failing to make a best bet within your 10 picks results in losing the right to make a best bet pick (i.e., you can't go back and designate one of your picks as a best bet
- If you make more than one best bet in a week, the second best bet (and third and fourth, etc.) is treated as a normal bet.
4) All picks are to be posted to the contest thread.
- No edits
- Picks in blue are official
5) The official line for each day is the line posted to the thread. We used the NY Post odds last season with no issues. We should continue using them.
6) You may make picks at any time of the day, and multiple times per day, AS LONG AS each pick is made before that game tips off. A late pick is counted as a loss.
7) Picks must be in before the listed tip-off time.
