Harold Carmichael just threw a touchdown pass to Mike Quick in this Eagles/Colts game that I'm watching. I feel like I've watched an inordinate number of TD passes from receivers and runners in 1983.

The name 'Harold Carmichael' used to be a weird form of trolling on Pittsburgh sports-talk radio. People would call in to a show and somehow work his name into the conversation. He retired in 1984, yet I heard his name as recently as a year or two ago. Was this a thing anywhere else, or just a weird Pittsburgh tradition?

What I’ll say about Tyson is that when he started fighting on HBO all the time, my dad and I would futz around with the cable box to try to get a passable picture so we could watch. It was like that.

Speaking of Tyson in passable video, I hereby promise that if any of us ever end up on a plane drunk and Mike Tyson is on the plane as well, I will not film you while you harass said Tyson.

the most random bump but since i never saw this the first time around ... i *was* on a plane with Mike Tyson a few years ago while slightly inebriated. I gave him a(n i'm sure obvious) double-take, locked eyes, and i kept moving.
