Christmas 2015

Getting an early jump on this, because I have to share this story.

My sister very nicely sent me a lovely Christmas present...a huge assortment of nuts. Pecans, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews.

One problem though: I'm allergic to all of them.

Not sure how I should take the message...be glad that she's thinking of me? Or upset that that she sent me a package of Death/Poison for Christmas.

Everyone here at work is getting a good laugh out of the story, at least.

Depends, how much do you stand to inherit?

In German, the word "Gift" means poison. She just took it a little too literally.

How is your sister not aware of your nut allergy?

Not sure...not like its a secret. But we aren't especially close. Saw her in October for the first time in 10 years.

Built a fire in the fireplace and chilled out by it with Mrs. Sabo for two hours tonight. Now she's in bed, and I have a strong old fashioned in my possession. All in all, a very fine evening.

Merry Christmas, Swampers.

Same to you my friend. Very similar, but we added a few family members, I"m finishing this Tree House IPA, then moving over to a Manhattan.

Wearing shorts, reading and drinking on the porch. I'll take it, but not every year.

Merry Happy guys (and the occasional awesome lady).

Stomach flu from the 24th until the 26th.. It was pretty bad and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Outside of that just chilled with the fan, first Christmas which was alcohol free cause of my flu. That said, 50% of the time I was running to the bathroom. Only regret I didn't wear my fitbit, I racked up steps.
