Now for some hard-hitting journalism.
If you watched the Blues-Sharks game on Sunday, no doubt you noticed the large-breasted woman sitting directly behind Sharks' coach Peter DeBoer. (The tv cameraman sure noticed her.)
Here's her story.

Hagelin impresses me. Amazing that two different playoff teams dumped him in the past year.

Vaselwhatev88 has been fucking great. He fucking stoned them in the second, but that goal at the 10 second mark was a killer.

Re: The OFFICIAL 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Yeah, that was one of those games where it just looked the dominant team was going to lose on something fluky. The 10 second goal changed that. Pittsburgh out-skated the piss out of them and their fore-checking was god damn brilliant. The between the legs pass from behind the net with a guy on his back in the first period by Sid was practically supernatural.rass wrote:Vaselwhatev88 has been fucking great. Circling back here, NYR definitely didn't "dump" Hagelin, we were just stuck with our stupid backs up against a salary cap wall because Sather fucked and refucked then fucked us some more with bridge deals and overpriced veterans. Someone that mattered had to go and Hagelin was cost-uncertain at the time of the trade (RFA) so he was the guy. Bad decisions led to a bad trade, but it was known bad at the time, not a retrospective fuckup.
Re: The OFFICIAL 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
I specifically used the term "dump" to have a bit of fun and get your goat. And, I looked up to see how the second round pick you got for him was doing and it looks like Gropp had a great year in juniors. So, there's that.mister d wrote:Circling back here, NYR definitely didn't "dump" Hagelin, we were just stuck with our stupid backs up against a salary cap wall because Sather fucked and refucked then fucked us some more with bridge deals and overpriced veterans. Had to sell my tickets to last night's "game" because I had a trial all day today. Wish I hadn't even watched it on TV. Bringing the wife for game 4, if we lose again, I may just leave her bad luck ass at the rink.

I never really understood the anti-fry-on-sandwich position, especially when stated so forcefully. Unless you don't like fries at all, you would eat them with the sandwich, right?

I like the combination of things on a Primanti bros sandwich, but the one I had at Primantis was horrible. Revolting.

Re: The OFFICIAL 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Maybe I've been unlucky with the few times I've had fries on a sandwich. In each instance, the fries were cold and greasy, which is never a winning combination for a fry. This isn't just a Primanti's thing ... there's a chain here in Cleveland called Panini's and they do the same thing. And again, the fries were cold and greasy. It just didn't add anything positive to the dining experience.rass wrote:I never really understood the anti-fry-on-sandwich position, especially when stated so forcefully. (I'm also a little fired up today because of shit that's going on at work, so I'm probably being more argumentative than normal.)

Panini's was the name of the place here too. It closed years ago. Was in Ybor, and it was a fantastic 3 a.m. sandwich.

Well that obviously didn't work and it didn't bother me at all as you can see.sancarlos wrote:I specifically used the term "dump" to have a bit of fun and get your goat.
I like Gropp a lot, great profile ... but we didn't get a 2nd rounder. We flipped 2nd rounders and moved up.sancarlos wrote:And, I looked up to see how the second round pick you got for him was doing and it looks like Gropp had a great year in juniors. So, there's that.

I however love their sandwiches, and cobbled together a homemade one for this past Monday's TBL/PIT game.

Thornton's pass for Hertl's second goal was pretty outstanding.

Is potato chips inside a cold hoagie like an Italian hoagie a thing outside Philly? It's not a very common thing here, but it's done. But when I did it in North Jersey in college and LS, people looked at me funny.

We talked earlier about MAF and Murray and whether the opposing team cares who is in net. I have a hypothesis about the Bolts that says that Bishop plays the puck more out of the back end than Vasy does. I have no stats to back this up, but as you've seen Andrei is a fantastic shot stopper. I'm not sure he's the play starter that Bishop is.

Yeah! I am kind of shocked at how good the Sharks have been looking. Especially defensively. They've played better in the playoffs than the more-ballyhooed teams of the past ten years ever did. St. Louis had more shots, but they were mostly long slap shots that weren't big trouble for the goalie. The Sharks had a number of good looks in close that were started by counter-punch rushes.Sabo wrote:So ... how 'bout them Sharks?

I'm a little concerned that that St. Louis might now try to goon it up with Reaves, or have Ott or Upshall do their nasty little stuff. They have to try something different.
Too bad you aren't traveling out here now Sabo - maybe we could get you to a playoff game.

Re: The OFFICIAL 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Their defense in the last five minutes after Hitchcock pulled the goalie was tremendous. I think St. Louis had two shots on goal during that entire time. Rather impressive for a six-on-five situation.sancarlos wrote:Yeah! I am kind of shocked at how good the Sharks have been looking. Especially defensively. I'd enjoy that. I need to invest in some Sharks gear of some kind. Still kind of kicking myself for not getting a Ryane Clowe jersey when we went to the first game. Right now the only NHL team I have gear for is the Pens. If this ends up a Sharks-Pens series for the Cup, I'm not sure who I'll root for.sancarlos wrote:Too bad you aren't traveling out here now Sabo - maybe we could get you to a playoff game.
