First time I've ever heard of it. Doesn't sound very California to me.

(Funny thing - at most hamburger joints around the country, a "California burger" just means they put avocado on it.)

Congrats. I hope it wasn't too stressful for you. I'm happy to see the Sharks finally make the Cup. I was a fan when they started out, back in the days of Jeff Hackett, Arturs Irbe, and Doug Wilson. I even saw their first win.

Same here, congrats! Always liked the Sharks even with the playoff battles with the Flames over the years and throwing Wilson out of the press box.
Great organization and great fanbase.

Make sure you get a jersey with the Stanley Cup Final crest on it, those are always special.

And if I can tell a quick, no one fucking cares but me story, the last time the Pens played TB in the playoffs, Sid was in the middle of his concussion crisis and did not play, the Pens PP was putrid, and I was driving home from Hershey in the middle of an 8-2 TB game that I managed to find on the radio.

And now I'm going to Hershey tomorrow. Will be home by Monday evening.

Also, I have a co-worker who for years has talked hockey with me, staying up with her sons (who played in HS) to watch playoff games. One of her sons is a Pens fan. The other is a Sharks fan.

Everyone send a good feeling to Judy, please.

There's no way that is worthy of supplemental discipline. A short guy and a tall guy hit. Didn't do anything to exacerbate the hit. And, as far as his background, Marleau is a former Lady Byng finalist. His PIM totals are very low every year.
