Since I only specified NBA in the title, amended Moses total: 16,212

Going with Moses. The Mailman never seemed to get tons of boards.

Wow. I disagree totally, except for the going with moses part. I also picked moses, but Karl delivered shitloads of boards.

They both got a lot and both played a long time. I think Moses had more years at the end where he really didn't play much.

I guess you are right. He was consistently in the high 7's to mid 8's per season. His scoring prowess just stuck out more then his rebounding. Moses on the other hand I recall as being a rebounding machine.

We must be looking at different stats. Because I see nothing lower than 7.8, and that one was his next to last season. He averaged 10.1 for his career.

Once again, you are correct. I was looking at DREB, not TREB.

Went with Karl because it's in my head that he played much longer.

EDIT: PISS! He did not play much longer.

Whiffed on that one, shocked the difference is so large.

I wonder how much of the difference had to do with...

...the prime of Moses's career being in the late '70s/early '80s where the game was more uptempo, leading to more rebound opportunities, and Karl's being in the (terrible) '90s when games were like 78-72.
