Just got it a couple of days ago. I'm a little miffed that I can't set my team's high-A roster, and I could have done without that 20-inning game in Game 3, but otherwise I'm good to go.

My boon for following soccer this year has been the talksport live football app. Live streaming radio of all EPL games as well as the English cups.

Huh. Billy Hamilton is on the Reds MLB roster in this game. He's also listed at shortstop.

His speed and base stealing ratings are 20s, in case you're wondering.

So the new version is out? I need to download it then.

I was obsessed with FM over Christmas and have weaned myself off as the winter has progressed. Though I know I will get back into it as soon as I open the app again.

Gotta say I prefer the iOOTP instead of the full version. The full version was just too damn involved for my tastes. I don't really need to set the lineups for my low A ball team, although Rex apparently disagrees with me.

Sounds great. Is that kosher for US IP addresses, or do you have to jump through some questionably-hoops to make it work?

Anyone got a good simple app for measuring the distance of a short walk? Hit start, walk relatively straight until you see the display on your phone tell you, in the form of digital text, when you've reached 1,000 feet, stop.

I use Nike+GPS now. No need to have the little sensor so long as you're using a smartphone. Works pretty well. Prob have to have a Nike+ account.

If you're walking 1,000 feet, why do you need an app to measure it?

Does anyone know a good Android app for music files ? I'm looking for one particular feature, the app has to allow you to check the random playlist it generates, so you can erase or move the songs and not have to come back every other song to press skip 4 times. Itunes had it but no luck so far on the Android side (Poweramp is my favorite for now).
thanks.

Is there a good app (besides Yelp, because fuck Yelp) that searches your location and pulls up coffee / restaurants / whatever by distance?

But you can't sort by distance, right? If I search espresso near me, the top hits are all in NYC.

Bring up the app, have it find you (click the little target button if you have to), and then click on "Explore around you"). On my iphone, it's right there on the bottom of the screen.
