damn, cold

Seriously, you're going to be within 5-10 minutes of at least three of us. If you get a couple of minutes free in Jersey send out a signal.
we could be at st. james gate in 8 minutes.

Arriving Newark late tonight. I'm going to my friend's kid's baseball game at 9 am tomorrow, and we're going to nyc on the train early afternoon. Maybe I could escape the game for an am drink if any of you could do the same?

Shit. I need to head out West for a soccer tournament at around 10. It's my fucking day, so I can probably sneak out for a cup of coffee (and a sconewich?) real quick prior to that.

If not, shit.

(PS, found some Pens fans here next to me, one guy has a sweet leg tattoo).

I literally the last 5 hours, I've come down with a wicked cold that has forced me to cancel tomorrow's Father's Day celebrations tomorrow, much to my Dad's chagrin. Another time, perhaps.

Fuck, completely missed this thread. If you took Route 22 to Scotch Plains, you were about 3 miles from my house. Even closer if you took 78. I totally would have ditched my family on Fathers Day to meet you at a kids baseball game.

Without clicking I know what it is. This is about as hard as someone you didn't really know dying can hit, given how nice of a dude he was and knowing he has an 11 year old.

15/15

I filled out all of the NJ towns I was sure on, and figured the rest were Pokemon. I was right.

My only exposure to Pokemon (until this week) was my young friend who is now a junior at west point showed me his collection when he was 8yo. I've had slightly more exposure to weird named NJ towns.

13/15.

Yeah, I followed that on Twitter as he was traveling around the state.

We were at the place in Asbury Park a couple of weeks ago. What I had (lemon ginger) was great.

I just had lemon olive oil (which was very good) and thai tea (which was bland and the first time they've upset me). The blueberry sour cream is amazing.

This was *not* sold as hard as it should have been. Fried chicken was outstanding.

That's a terrible description of an excellent looking sub.

I'm still trying to find a great bagel here.

that's the thing about bagels. bagel spot on morris ave in union is the tits, but does anybody want to drive longer than 5 minutes to get a good bagel? no. (however, the union pork store which opens at 7 is 4 store fronts away, so two birds etc...)

Bed, Bath & BEYOND

My wife works in city hall in that town. The arresting officers got a couple of days off to make sure they weren't contagious, even though it may have been bed bugs and not scabies.

I missed this the first time, but I'm definitely now going on a trip there. I tend to go however long it takes to get "the best" version of whatever it is because I'll be mad getting a shittier version just to save 20 minutes that'll be spent doing something dumb anyway. And I still need to check out Union Pork Store. (I planned an entire trip into the city to get my glasses fixed around wanting to check out Sadelle's bagels. They were amazing.)

I hope you enjoyed the place because apparently Bruce showed up for dinner recently so it's sure to be ruined now...
