So we're going to try to do our normal open house St Pat's party again this year, for the first time since 2019. The first one was in 2002, and we missed three since then - one for rain in 2010 and then 2020/21 (we had a limited # of people over last year). Saturday, March 11th, the date corresponds with the county parade which is held downtown. Doors open 10:30 AM or so and it runs through...? If any of you local guys (or whoever) are interested drop me a PM or text and I'll get you our address.

The week before St. Patty's Day? Perfect, I was bummed because we are in Virginia for a soccer tournament St. Patty's weekend, but I should be in town and daughter's game is on Sunday that weekend! Just hope there is no track meet.

Harvey’s!

I’m out of town for reasons that would make you feel bad if you call me a liar or tell me I was never part of the invite.

Good luck man. Armory? I found a reasonably priced lot last time we had to go in there but now I'm not sure what place it was.

Thanks!!! didn't qualify for individual events, just relays. He's been stuck at the same times now all winter season, kid's frustrated.

yeah. haven't been yet..

He ran there this past week - loved the facility, said the track was better than Ocean Breeze .. but didn't see parking.
once i know the times, we'll figure it out.
the longest we've had the baby boy at one of these is 7 hours.. he burns all the energy running around the outside of the track.

If you don't mind paying extra the lot at the hospital is the most convenient.

And that place is a lot more cramped than Ocean Breeze, good luck with the toddler.

Easily the "coolest" place in town, certainly downtown, so hopefully they're able to recover. They were closed, so no one was hurt. My youngest loves it there.

I guess what I'm saying is that if it happened in Essex County, it would have been a much bigger tragedy because of our seemingly much greater work ethic.

Or your part of Essex has more free-loading stay-at-home moms hitting the local cafe for an over-engineered latte while the nanny watches the kids.

Whoa whoa whoa. This isn't Millburn. Or the family of that one kid my oldest was friends with back in 2nd or 3rd grade that I think has since gone to private school that did have the stay-at-home + nanny combo.

To provide the swamp some closure the restaurant above got the ok to reopen and I think they did so this evening. Just had to board up the front windows until they get replacements. Luckily they have two entrances.
