Didn't find one for this season. Which starts like in 3.5 hours.

Anyway, CFB tweet of the season has already been decided.

Also BTW... What the ever-loving fuck, Penn State?

Appy St. sure shot themselves in the foot on that one. It amazes me how piss poor teams are with clock management...it's like they don't even practice.

I assume you're talking about the end of regulation. I turned the game on right after Tennessee scored to tie it and was rooting for the upset since I have no dog in the fight. I couldn't believe they didn't call the TO prior to that last play. I assumed the head coach thought he could carry it into OT because that was the only way it made any sort of sense. Was App State unable to throw the ball at all during the game? Seemed that in the limited part I saw, they didn't have any confidence in throwing.

They could not throw it downfield at all. Had a few underneath routes, but they mostly got their yards on jet sweeps or action created by a fake jet sweep.

They're only playing an FCS opponent (Colgate), but I am very excited to see what Dino Babers' offense will do at Syracuse.

Yeah, I was completely confused by that last drive. They still had a timeout left, right? Could they not see that they had a MUCH greater chance of winning the game on that last drive than in overtime? Why on earth would you save a timeout? They wasted at least 30 seconds of the last minute just standing around. Baffling failure by a coach who had obviously done a masterful job to that point.

They were in position more from Tennessee screwing up than them being great. They had one good drive, but their first TD came after a botched punt return so they had a short field. They were playing tight butthole the entire second half.

Is everybody as excited as I am for the big Colorado State versus Colorado game? Yep, thought so!

Actually, I root for both teams, normally, but tonight it's Go, Rams!

Think it's pretty cool that an SEC team actually agreed to play a non-conference game north of the Mason-Dixon Line but no idea why they're playing Wisconsin at Lambeau or why Wisconsin would agree to that when Camp Randall seats 10,000 more people. Would be like LSU playing a home game at the Superdome. They'd never do it.

Well, CSU was appallingly bad, but on the bright side, maybe the Buffaloes will be good enough to win a couple Pac-12 conference games!

So is this an instance where OU agreed to the game a few years ago, not knowing they'd be facing a situation where they're down 16 on the road entering the 4th?

I'm a USF alum, so any good news for the AAC is good news.

So uh...go Houston!

Rutgers is bad, but I think Washington might be for real this year. Leading 24-0 at the end of the 1st quarter, and their team speed, on both O and D, is remarkable.

I saw on Deadspin earlier this week how Rutgers was taking credit for the $ earned by NBA players that played under Jim Calhoun. Because their assistant coach, Karl Hobbs, was also an assistant at UConn back then.

Not sure Hobbs has been trending upwards in his coaching career, or what if anything (beyond just being there as an assistant clipboard coach) he had to with helping those blue chip recruits Calhoun landed, either.

Usually Trojans protect that area.

Not today, apparently.

Oh yeah, from what I heard (I didn't watch the game, just the radio as I did stuff around the house) it sounded like they were bad bad bad. But it was good that the Huskies laid the lumber on 'em. There's a lot of hype going around that UW might be contenders for the Rose Bowl this year, and at least from one game against a bad opponent, it didn't sound completely out of the question.

And John Ross is a huge difference maker. 3 TD's (2 receptions, 1 KO return) in his first game back after missing all of last year with a torn ACL.

Washington is NOT going to the Rose Bowl. I would give you pretty much any reasonable odds against that. If you think that you are insane.

This Texas/Notre Dame game is batshit.

The go ahead touchdown negated by a two point return on a blocked extra point attempt? Nuts.
