The company required a sleep study and it found sleep apnea. I’m sure it’s all insurance-related for the company.

That reminds me of one of biggest pet peeves… when you’re coughing and someone offers you water. Water goes down the esophagus while coughing comes up the trachea. They’re different tubes!

Used the CPAP for the first time last night and it wasn’t as bad as I feared. I’m sure as soon as I get the mask fit dialed in and get used to it (it’s a little unsettling to have a machine essentially breathing for you at first) it might really be a big help. At worst if I can at least find a comfort level with it, won’t be any worse than my sleeping now and since I have to upload proof of use it’s non-negotiable anyway.

Me: No, a little bit closer to now. It's primarily late 80s early 90s. It's pretty jarring, though, when NWA comes up on a playlist entitled "Dad" anything.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but my GF grew up in Columbia, MO down the street from a kid who is now a writer/exec producer for the Simpsons.

As a result of my eye surgery, I am supposed to sleep on my side, not on my back. And, awhile back I buggered up my left shoulder so I don’t like to sleep on my left side. Normally, I would move around a lot as I sleep, so this limitation to only sleeping on my right side is a pain in the arse.

yeah and related (and i feel like i may have brought this up before, apologies) is i can't have anyone call me "mister webster" - first of all, it's not my name, and second .... no. please please call me max ffs.

idk i know even with my relatively-young parents in the 80s it was considered a sign of respect and I do get that but I just cringe when i'm called mister and immediately insist on the first name with my kids' friends and have for years - i can't go for that. no can do.
