Yeah, I'm close behind you, there. My daughter (who is almost 17) got her learner's permit in September. Should get her driver's license in March. I may have a heart attack in the passenger seat before we get to that point.

My son got his permit two years ago ... never bothered to go through with getting his license, mostly because the driver's ed class at his school was a massive clusterfuck.

I guess you can get a license at 18 without having taken a driver's ed class. So that's his plan now, since he'll be 18 in six months.

The other thing that makes me feel old is that my son will be 18 in six months.

The first thread I read was about Karrine Steffans' (nickname Superhead because she was good at sucking dick) book, Confessions of a Video Vixen. In it everyone was entertained by Chris Brown's reaction after getting blown by her: I'm Transforming!

Shit, I think I first joined around '03, but could be off. I moved to Alabama in August of '03, and think I joined prior to that via Bill Cross pointing me to a Wink and the Gun article that linked to the swamp. Left in the second or third great rift. About when every thread turned in to the same crap and it just frankly got boring. Life was too busy and the world was too big to have to stress about that bullshit. But this place was social media before social media.
