It's stories like these that make me hold out hope the ivory-billed woodpecker is still alive somewhere.

Were they drinking and singing about Kvass? Wine Library stocks it and I’m thinking about rewatching the Americans which would give the requisite excuse to give it a try.
Guy in the mask 3 years ago might have been on to something.

Since there's a video going around with a guy throwing a bobcat, here's a good thread from someone who studies bobcats...

Not really a birding guy by any stretch, but I've enjoyed seeing all kinds of different birds that you don't see in the United States
like this guy who was perched outside my office a few minutes ago.
Been quite a few others that I've not looked up though meant to including one that was completely blue but which I don't think was a bluejay (or at least not like any bluejays I've seen in the US or Canada).

Holy shit! That boulder at about 19 seconds that hit ramp and just missed the small structure at the foot of the bridge... Fucking crazy! I felt like screaming at the people to put down the phone and run, but then when he went inside I was pissed because I wanted to see more.

I like it when the Canadian geese fly over low enough that you can hear their wings.
