It would help if you posted the spot. It was a good half a yard behind where the ball is in that picture. Very clearly a first down.

I agree that it looks like a first down and O'Brien probably should have challenged. But I'd guess that officials missspot a ball by the length of a football or so (it looks like they left them about a foot short, assuming Miller hadn't leaned forward at all between when his knee touched and that photo) pretty frequently over the course of a game.

He definitely should've challenged that one and not put himself in the predicament. Punting on 4th and 4 with one TO and 3:15 left was awful as well. He's not the answer and they should move on after the season.

can't the argument be made that Houston has overachieved this year? how much of the Brock awfulness do you pin on B O'B?

I'm guessing he had a huge say in him being signed. And look at the shit show at QB we had last year and how he handled it all.

All of it. It was a shitload of money to outlay and its his guy his call. You gotta blame him for evaluating him wrong and not coaching him up. We were fucked when jj watt went out. We might sneak into the playoffs cause our division is fuckawful but this is not a good football team and it has no potential to get any better.
