There's a great hockey bar right next door to Madison Square Garden called The Flying Puck. Met up there once with Howard, Oiler, and Hood.

A barman in Canada's Yukon Territory is furious that the key ingredient to the famed "Sourtoe Cocktail" - a mummified human toe - has been stolen.

Probably the most famous thing in the Yukon.

Three years ago, that tradition was thrown into jeopardy when Joshua Clark, a writer from New Orleans, swallowed the toe. On purpose.

In 2013, Joshua was passing through Dawson City when he heard about “the most disgusting cocktail in the world.” As a man of many adventures, he wasn’t content just to drink the drink — he decided to take it one step further. He slurped down the toe, then proudly paid the $500 fine for swallowing the amputated appendage and slipped into the night.

A building near St. Laurent Street in Montreal in the neighbourhood where Leonard Cohen grew up, and close to where he is buried.

How many younger people ask why Bruce Willis looks so old?

The real Bruce Willis doesn't look much younger than that picture.

And look at the scores in the best 2 of 3 finals...
1) USSR 6 - Canada 5 (Overtime) - Gretzky put the good guys ahead with 3 minutes left, but the dirty red bastards scored 30 seconds later to send it to overtime.

2) Canada 6 - USSR 5 (Double Overtime) - The Godless heathens scored with a minute left in regulation.

3) Canada 6 - USSR 5 - Winner scored with just over a minute left.

I forgot how incredible that series was.

The truism is that once you get east of Quebec City, the people get nicer by the mile.

The maritimes do have the nicest people you will ever meet. I am amazed though that Buddy stole the wheelbarrow in the first place!

Well if you don’t know, never mind?

Bizarre Tale Of Canada's Hostage Family Gets Weirder

Can't make this shit up. From day one, this story was really fishy.

Trudeau Jr. just gave the opposition some great material for the next election.

yeah it can't help. Trudeau is getting blasted in the papers today for renewing ties with Iran while the protests are going on.

This guy took his two infants and an 8-month pregnant wife for a vacation... in northern Afghanistan? He had been married into Canada's most notorious radical family (the Khadrs).

Rumours that he was trying to join up with the Taliban? Obviously a man of dubious character and Trudeau poses for that shot? His instincts seem to be pretty shoddy - methinks that our handsome PM is more than just a bit of a lightweight... despite being a graduate of McGill.
