FMuD: Best opening line of a song

Post by rass »

Heard it from a friend who
Heard it from a friend who
Heard it from another you been messin' around

If you choose Other, please do specify. For instance, I heard the beginning of "The Sound of Silence" on the radio on the way into work this morning and if it hadn't been so over used in popular culture (Kingpin, Old School and probably elsewhere) that could have been a contender.
I felt aswirl with warm secretions.

Gotta be a Pavement song. I'll go with the first one I ever heard, which sucked me into Pavementdom for life.

Her dress pulled up and the moon is shinin'
I swear that girl's drunk up all of my tequila
I guess I better get her 'fore the trash man finds her, yeah

Lord I say good morning Mr pawnshop man,
As I walked in his door
I says I feel bad this morning,
I really wants my Forty‑four.

Lord I was at a party last night
Til about half past two
I'm going back out there tonight,
I got some shooting to do.

Oh it's so funny to be seeing you after so long, girl.
And with the way you look I understand
That you are not impressed.
But I heard you let that little friend of mine
Take off your party dress.
