Re: Gregg Allman
The Allman Brothers back when Duane was alive would've perhaps become the greatest American band of all time had it not been for heroin.
Actually: imagine if Jerry/The Grateful Dead had Jamoe and Trucks as their rhythm section.

Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

Re: Gregg Allman
I saw Gregg and Dickie perform as the Allman Brothers back when I was in college. Saw them with Little Feat at an amphitheater in St. Louis. Great show. I'm not sure I knew Dickie Betts's name at the time though. Unfortunately, I drank a bit too much and ended up throwing up on the carpet in my girlfriend's parents' house in the middle of the night. Made for an uncomfortable couple of days with her teetotaler mom. She's been my mil for nearly 30 years now though, so she got over it.
I also Gregg perform with just his own band here in Cary about ten years ago, also at an outdoor amphitheater. Took my kids this time and they loved it.

Totally Kafkaesque
