Looking for a picture, it appears he lost a significant amount of weight around 2014, but put a lot of it back on. Because it's taboo to discuss such things, from what I can tell.

I remember when people were like "he's too fat to be president" and the reaction was visceral because 1) body shaming and 2) you aren't his doctor, so you know nothing of his health.

But even Stevie Wonder can see that that guy is overweight as fuck. He needs gastric bypass surgery.

There's a difference. My brother had gastric bypass. He's lost and kept off a lot of weight.

You're not wrong, but semantics aside all of these procedures (including just diet and exercise) work if the person having the procedure follows the post-surgical protocol. I don't think Christie ever had any interest in anything other than a quick fix which is why either of the procedures fail.
