JARED GOFF IS THE BEST STARTING QB FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THREE WEEKS.

Elsewhere, I think I'm more comfortable with Brady's Drumpf connections than I am with his bullshit lifestyle campaign. Fuck.

May the water sooth you, Ryan...

Also, this week marks the Trent Richardson Invitational between the Browns and Colts.

It honestly surprises me when people seem to just now realize what a stupid and boring dipshit Brady is.

Sammy Watkins has 7 catches on 7 targets in 2 games and also thinks the earth is flat.

That game ruled. Even with the officials fucking the 49ers at the end.

Not often you get offensive shootout tempered with some impressive defensive stands. I write this as a Todd Gurley fantasy owner who would have gotten some laughs out of TD's #4 and 5 last night.

I have three teams, all started 2-0. Never happened before.

This week I take on a guy with Gurley and Hyde.

2-1 in that league.

For the same reason we play the Canadian Anthem in hockey?

True. And I just thought a moment, I'm not due why they'd play our anthem. We're not playing a London based NFL team. Maybe it's out of respect? I didn't catch the opener, but did the UK anthem get played too?

Joe Flacco being 8/18 for 28 yards and two picks while Bortles has four TDs seems to make sense in some weird way.

Lol - Jesus - Jags ran a fake punt up 37-0 and it worked for 59 yards - 44-0 now to start fourth quarter.

Other Jaguars players were kneeling. That's what I want from an owner. Support those guys.

And fuck Ray Lewis sideways. It's okay to kneel now, huh, Ray?

Mike Tomlin just told me @NFLonCBS #Steelers will NOT be participating in the #NationalAnthem today in CHI. Staying in the locker room.

I get it dude. You were a ranger. You're in a USAA commercial.

But you stay in the locker room with your team. I don't need your piddly bullshit to remind me that you love the flag so much. Do you sleep at the position of attention too?

It's beyond lame. It's insulting and tiring because it only lends to the notion that it's OK to set aside your critical thinking skills when you wrap yourself in the flag.

And he's pulling a bullshit "I'm better than all of you" card by conflating any memories he has as a soldier with the flag itself when he's turning his back on his teammates.

Sounds like he was a pretty fucking terrible soldier.

And it feeds into the bullshit that ALL military members support actions like this. He uses his likeness as a face for veterans and makes money off of it.

If he's still in the military (like Joe Cardona of the Patriots), he has to full and well declare that as a member it's part of regulations to do this. But if he is a civilian, then he shouldn't do this at all. He's not speaking for the military, but he's presenting an improper image.

Yup. As I mentioned in the other thread, this was an easy cause to get behind. Everyone should have gone out there and not stand for the anthem for 1 week. Then figure out what to do next week. There were too many 'exceptions' today which makes everything worse.

Some penalties come with a runoff right? Or injury to offensive player with no timeouts? I wasn't watching.

You must break the cycle.

Although I thought I was doing that by skipping the Bills game to go to a literary and book festival by the lake today.

I guess it was nice to be out with my wife and daughter...
