But it's also on CBS and I have an HD antenna, so ok. Whatever. Will subsequent weeks have this type of simulcast?

NFL used to do that too. Before they were paid these stiffs millions of dollars to pontificate. I used to actually LIKE rain delays for Tigers games sometimes. They showed some really cool shit.

Yeah, I was thinking in the NHL something like that should be 20 games so a quarter of a season sounds about right. It'll be bullshit if he gets less than 2.

As far as celebrity fans go, Lions fans could do a lot worse than Keegan Michael-Key.

(Honestly, the whole segment is pretty long and features peak annoying Ray Lewis and Phil Simms so proceed only if you're really bored, but Key obviously knows his stuff.)

Ref would have been theoretically within his rights to eject as they have some latitude for ejecting any player for any reason especially player safety or fighting, but in reality there's no rule that mandates or requires an ejection for even the most illegal hits. As ridiculous as it sounds, the ref could (in theory again) have gotten in trouble for ejecting him for his first personal foul of the game.

Yeah, could have given him a second personal foul for that, which would have been an ejection. Might have been the way to play it with the benefit of hindsight.

There shouldn't have been any need for hindsight. Helmet off is automatic flag. But the NFL really doesn't care about any of this. One of the reasons I have stopped watching. Only catch what you guys discuss here.

THey get pretty lenient with that when there's a stoppage. Randall Cobb was kneeling next to Adams with his off.
