I'd love to see an example of somebody else who molested little girls in their teens being forgiven in the media.

This is America, we love our rags to riches redemption stories. Ever since that Horatio Alger book about the child molester who everyone forgave when he became rich, Ragged Dick.*

*Confession: I skipped a large portion of the middle of the book when I read this in HS.

filmed a scene with some dude eating Brian Williams' daughters asshole? I don't know, is she gay? Putting an R-rated show on HBO, a premium channel, is worse than finger banging your sisters.

Bonus fun with Alaskan dimwits: Palin says, flatly, " I’m not an apologist for any sexual predator," just before she dismisses Josh Duggar's actions as youthful "wrongdoing," and then says the real issue is that the police report was released and that the "media" is going "after the entire Duggar family for one member’s wrongdoing, while giving a total pass to perverted actions of someone like Lena Dunham." And because no Facebook post by Sarah Palin is ever complete without a moment of total monkeyfuck insanity, she jabbers, "Such obvious double standards applied to equally relevant stories underestimate the wisdom of the public, discredit the press, and spit on the graves of every American who fought and died for the press's freedom." Damn, that's the kind of leaping that'd make a parkour expert say, "How the fuck did you get there?"

John McCain's ambition was willing to risk her being one heartbeat away from the presidency is probably closer to accurate.

I thought the mother was way more apologetic in the boy's actions than the dad, but both were horrible. And now they are making the sisters come out and say they aren't mad and weren't even aware of the abuse. Just disgusting apologists for a molester who that I would bet has done the same thing since his "youthful indiscretion"

Coincidentally, I recently saw the South Park episode where Cartman gets a bunch of kids to go to a NAMBLA meeting. So hilarious. If the Duggar shithead was known about at that time, I'm sure they would have worked him into the plot.

That's MY Nevada assemblyperson. She lives a mile down the road. She's crazier than a shithouse rat. The latest outrage was her saying she wanted to personally kill Syrian refugees this week, then walked it back and said she meant she only wants to kill terrorists.

The "whoa..." was for the video. The headline was actually misleading in that she didn't say in the clip they included that she would kill for Trump, though if you watch the video you can totally believe she would kill for Trump.

You should move, that family is a mass hooting just waiting to happen.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal in Canada to carry a gun and a child at the same time.

How about giving guns to small children? Looking at that card, I'm expecting a gif to load where her tits reach out and crush the kids head.

Funny thing is this assembly district is actually pretty diverse and evenly divided. For example, Romney only carried it 49.7-48.4 in 2012. There was no chance of her being voted out in 2014 because it was a mid-term election, but I know the Dems here are girding for a real fight for this district in 2016. She has a better than decent chance of being voted out because even some Republicans I know are tired of her antics.

That was one of the dumber things I've ever heard. Yeah, I only want to kill the terrorists. Which ones are those? And who is arguing "we need to bring in more terrorists! Free the jihadis!"?

I doubt they're actually well done (compared to other calendars anyway) -- it's a fund-raising gimmick. Got another election here in 11 months. She might raise more money than any other state assemblyperson in the state so it's going to be somewhat of an uphill battle to win the seat next year. I'm sure whoever the Democratic candidate is, he or she is probably going to be outspent 6 or 7 to 1.

If I'm the DNC, that's the national "GOTV" ad I'm running nation-wide. There's literally no downside to it. If the RNC tries to counter by running some of the D no-hopers in bright red districts it's probably just gonna be some grandma who wants to abolish ICE and they'll accidentally end up helping D turnout.

(I'm actually in favor of abolishing ICE, I just don't know what the equivalent would be of some nutty position on the left where even I would be "whoa, wait a second here.".)

Pretty sure we've all dealt with this, but it starts with the sucking vacuum of unaccountability from RW media. It's all our problem, but it's pointless to wonder what can be done about it without sweeping reform to how news gets presented.

Sure, I wouldn’t be in favor of that. No one would. Of course no one has ever seriously proposed that ever.
