What's the point of a hearing where people get to ask questions if the askee doesn't have to answer the questions?

Seriously?

So the congress critters can scurry back to their constituency to say “I ask the hard questions you need answered!1”

Maybe I just want it to be so, but do Booker and Durbin cease "respecting the process" if they weren't seeing whats happening in various Dem primaries?

And they all seem to start their questioning with a 3 minute speech.

The problem I have with all of this is that at the apex of it all, they’re all buddies. What difference does it make if you’re only talking from the right side of history when the government you work for is consistently on the wrong side of it?

Is it happy hour yet?

(Or the threat was just a good quote.)
Add Senator Hirono to the I Am Spartacus moment:

This is how you play politics. You need 67 senators to expel someone, but all you need is Democrats to hold, pressure Murkowski and Collins to vote no, and this could be a big moment for everyone resisting.

Edit.

Ya know if they want total chaos, dump every file, have the public read the files collectively and send data back. That would be outstanding.

I don't think you dump it all to the public, but you have some reporters you know will read through it and find the most important things.

It is a pretty minor blip in the bigger picture of him being a fucking moron. But the fact that he can't keep his shit together and act the part on 9/11 is pretty much what we'd expect. He's just such a toolbag.

One person cheers and he forgets why he's there. Not a really big deal, but so typical of the douchebag.

Please, making a 9/11 speech all about applause for him is nothing compared to Obama asking for dijon mustard on a hot dog or unbuttoning his top button while working on a Sunday in the Oval Office, and those stories got weeks of coverage on Fox proving Obama unfit for office.

As a point of reference - Mulroney was a Conservative Party Prime Minister (conservative by canadian standards, a socialist dog by current US standards).

Notorious for all but blowing Reagan when he visited Quebec.

In the many years since he retired from politics, he stays out of the fray. The old guy's clearly had enough...

I forced a bot to watch over 1,000 hours of Trump rallies and then asked it to write a Trump rally of its own. Here is the first page. https://twitter.com/KeatonPatti/status/ ... 64/photo/1
