I didn't realize, until I saw the comments today from Bledsoe and others, just how traumatic Glenn's childhood was. Among other things, his mother was brutally murdered when he was 13 years old. He's a reminder that many athletes who are derided for "character issues" have dealt with hardships that are pretty unimaginable for those providing the criticism. Really makes Parcells look like a piece of shit for calling someone like that "soft" too, even putting aside the casual misogyny.
