One winning season in the NFL - and he was a rookie. After that, 38-122. Yet he's going to Canton.
And deservedly so.
Fuck!

He totally deserved better.
Looking back, he was one of 6 no-doubt-about-it HoFers in the first 14 picks in the 07 Draft: Megatron(2), him (3), Adrian Peterson (7), Patrick Willis (11), Beast Mode (12), and Revis Island (14).

I will give you two of those as first ballot locks.
I still think he's pretty good. Loved him coming out of college but he's kind of a tweener between a 4-3 DT and a 3-4 NT and his best years seemed to have been his first couple years. Is he 'worth' that much money? Of course not, no free agent is. But by the time Buffalo needs the cap space, they'll be able to cut him.
He can still push a pocket but you don't necessarily need to give him extra attention like you do with the top 3-4 space eater NTs.

Eh, it's right in line with most draft value charts. Looks impressive because of the extra picks, but they're only second-rounders.
Wonder which QB the Jets are so high on they're worried about losing him though.

“The wrong one” feels like a safe guess.

That would be hilarious, if it wasn't so depressingly true.

I bet they want Josh Allen and IMO, that's easily the wrong one.
Yeah, it’s not like he elevated Wyoming much. I’d love to hear a take on him from our resident Wyo boy, Pentagonz.

Pentagonz brother is randomly in a draft group on Facebook that I am also in and loves Allen, and I think it's pretty much solely because he played at Wyoming.

I can't remember if I asked this yet: Knowing the necessity of a franchise QB, would it be completely stupid or just immensely high risk and second guessable for the Browns to pick one at #1 and another at #4? Or would it be so impossible to keep either happy and properly develop them that it renders the idea un-doable?

Some talking head suggested it a while back. Personally, I'd go Barkley 1 and whichever QB 4.

The Browns still have too many holes in their roster to draft two QBs with the first four picks. My guess is they take a QB with the first pick and either take Barkley, Chubb or Fitzpatrick with the fourth. If they trade down from the fourth pick, they'd better get a fucking haul of picks to make it worthwhile.

Looks like the Bills are going to need another Wide Receiver. (Not that this one was any good. But still...)
Honestly - I hope there were drugs involved. Otherwise...

Two things:
1) Apparently the entirety of New Orleans has amnesia about Tom Benson's role and intent in trying to move the Saints to San Antonio after Hurricane Katrina. Dude was a piece of shit.
2)

Same thing happened in Buffalo after Ralph Wilson died. Shitty owner who blackmailed the city and county repeatedly in order to get free shit.
And he fired Pollian. And he forced Phillips to start Rob johnson.
Asshole.

Cooks must wonder what he has to do to stay in one place for awhile.

Maybe he’s a shit bird or something. He’s pretty talented to be traded two years in a row.
