Unless the Red Sox sign JD Martinez, they’re going to finish a lot closer to 3rd place than they are going to catch the Yankees.
I mean, unless those starting pitchers all start 30+ games apiece to the tune of sub 3.5 ERAs.

I'm going to use this thread to announce my heavy skepticism about the 2018 Yankees. If you list out the full lineup + rotation and then have to individually bet over/under performance versus last year, the only ones I'd feel any level of confidence taking the over on are Bird, the Yankee version of Gray and maybe Tanaka with a health caveat. Everyone else ranges somewhere between "may have peaked" to "seems about right".
