Man. I am a mess today. Exhausted, anxious, mad, weepy at some point or another.
PMS is a bitch.
(i keed)
Hey man, I'm FROM PMS!
(There's a pretty good reason they didn't name my middle school after the town like the Elementary and High School.)
Did they have shitty LZ knockoff bands in PMS too? :D

Every band was shitty in the late 80s.

What if he's never heard of those bands and is now listening to them and #feelingbetter?

I can assure you listening to REM would not have made anything better. One of the top "I don't get them at all" bands in my taste.
But I don't know about the Pixies very much.

The Ted Lasso Billy Joel joke this week made me smile.
The Roy Kent human moment in the same show made me weepy.
ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I'm more of a fan of The Breeders, but The Pixies were kind of the precursor to a ton of early 90s bands.
Wave of Mutilation slaps, Where is My Mind, Monkeys Gone to Heaven, Debaser and Hey are really good. And I know they didn't like it but Here Comes Your Man is hooky as Hell.
Now imma go listen to Cannonball.

Strong Billy Joel theme on The Boys this season (picking up from a couple of mentions in season 1).

I had all of these symptoms when I was sick with the 'rona. There were times I would be very happy and then 10 minutes later I'd be a sobbing mess. Hang in there, but if it's the 'rona it will blow over.

AB, is it just the stuff you've related previously (Covid and family stuff), or are there new factors in play? Chin up, buddy. I will toast you later this evening, when I break into some quality Kentucky straight bourbon.
