Nor'Merica

Put your biases aside (for small Caribbean islands) and pick 4 from these prelim groups

This is cool, thanks for doing it.

1, 2, 4, 5. I wish I remembered what Burkina Faso's flag looked like so I can vote for them just because I like to say Burkina Faso.

#4 does NOT look like a flag of a real country. It looks like the cover an L Ron Hubbard novel or something.

So we're voting on appearance of the flags?

Very hard to remove political bias, but since I'm a big man, I did so.

1 and 3 are much too busy and 4 is just plain dumb.

Baffling that a flag with god damn Zulu weaponry doesn't get more run up in here.

If it were just (symmetrical) spears, it would get more votes.

I also have to admit that I love the name of that country. So that's playing into it. But, mostly...

ZULU WARRIORS.

You need different length spears for killing British colonizing motherfuckers than you do for hunting antelope and shit.

And I freely admit that when I saw the 1964 classic Zulu for the first time (must've been on an early version of cable or something, I'm not THAT old), it freaked me the fuck out and those Zulus were fucking dope.

Because it matters, I'm told the thing on Flag 6 is a traditional hat. And #7 has two dogs next to a shield and the word "OCEANO"

1, 5, 7, 8. Much weaker group than the first overall.

#2 is overpraised IMO. Too busy.
